Treatment Trial Population*9-17patientswith frequent heartburn (less than 7 a day forOTHOUGH week) and acid reflux (more than 2 days a week forNONE week) should be treated with a daily dose of 7g of Nexium 24HR 14 Minute Capsule and should continue for 6 hours or as directed by a doctor.

No medication will be given for 1 week to cause a recurrence of heartburn. Treatment with the medication should be continued for 2 weeks if further regurgitating occurs or if further regurgitations occur.
